My name is Andrea. When I started this blog, back in 2015, I decided to create a pseudonym for myself. I’ve always liked the sound of the name “Antonia.” It wasn’t until recently that my real name began to resonate with my character and the way I am. Antonia was perhaps that person who searched in words and stories for some kind of self-acceptance, a way to finally say everything she cannot shout in everyday life. There is so much held between letter and letter, between a period quietly walking toward a comma. The “Aquella”—I have no idea where that came from, maybe it just sounded good, and that was enough. Let’s not dwell on trivialities.
